Tarlac State University joined the celebration of the World Teachers’ Month today, October 7, 2019, at the TSU Gymnasium spearheaded by the Human Resource Development and Management Office.

Bearing the theme “Without teachers, life would have no class,” TSU educators were showered with love and appreciation through special presentations from students and surprise performances from selected faculty members.

Also, the HRDMO prepared tokens to faculty members which were handed over during the registration. The Supreme Student Council and the college student councils likewise gave flowers and gifts to the faculty members.

The World Teachers’ Day is held annually on October 5 since 1994 which commemorates the anniversary of the adoption of the 1966 International Labor Organization/UNESCO Recommendation concerning the status of teachers, rights, and responsibilities.
